Welcome to Blue Sky Education. I am Teacher Shannon. I am a mom to 5 children. Before children, I worked as a nurse. Being a nurse made me realize how much I loved teaching. Teaching is my passion. I love seeing my students excited when they learn something new. Because of that passion, I decided to become a teacher. I have been teaching for over 19 years. For the last 2.5 years, I have worked as an online ESL teacher and have taught over 2800 classes. I am excited to offer online ESL classes to students ages 4-18. My Teaching Style
I make lessons fun and memorable to encourage a love of learning. I can provide enrichment activities before class. I can also send audio recordings for your child to practice at home.
I am a native English speaker.
I offer a variety of curriculum for all levels.
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree.
I have several certifications through VIPKID including the VIPKID TESOL.
Class Prices
$21 USD for 1 class
$200 USD for a package of 10 classes
1 Free class during student's birthday month.
1 Free class for every referral who purchases a 10 class package from me.

Parent Policies
- Please adhere to all Blue Sky Education Policies.
- Communication: If your child cannot attend class within 12 hours of their scheduled class, please send a message to Teacher Shannon, through the Blue Sky Education website. We can reschedule your class for a different day and time, with no financial penalty.
- Student No-Show: If your student does not arrive in class within the first 10 minutes, you will forfeit that class. Exceptions can be made for infrequent emergencies. Please communicate with Teacher Shannon, as soon as possible, to reschedule.
- Late Students: Teacher Shannon will wait in the classroom for the first 10 minutes of class. After 10 minutes, the teacher will leave the classroom. The class will not be refunded or rescheduled.
- Teacher Rescheduling: If Teacher Shannon is sick or has a family emergency, your class will be rescheduled. Teacher Shannon will make every effort to communicate with you, ahead of the scheduled class.
- Internet and Computer Problems: If the student or teacher experience technical difficulties that prevent us from having class, we will reschedule your class. If we experience ongoing technical issues over several classes, we will work together to solve the problem. Our goal is for your student to experience learning in a fun, high quality, and distraction-free environment!

5.关于老师更改上课时间: 如果Shannon 老师生病或家里有急事，该次课将可以重新约上课时间。Shannon 老师会尽最大努力在上课前尽早提前通知家长进行安排。
6.关于IT技术问题: 如果在课堂上遇到不能解决的技术故障问题导致课程无法进行，我们可以重新约上课时间。如果我们在几次课上连续出现技术故障以致于课程不能正常进行，我们可以一起努力解决问题，从而确保学员能最大可能地获得最佳的上课体验!
