Hello! I’m Teacher Beth XB, and I teach English (ESL) classes with Blue Sky Education. I love teaching online! I get to work with students from all over the world, and the one-on-one, personal attention that I can give to my students creates the very best learning environment.

~I teach all levels of ESL from Beginners through more advanced students.  

~Adults welcome for conversation and ESL practice.

I live in Birmingham, Alabama which is in the southeastern area of the United States. I have 4 children and 2 grandchildren! I love to cook and spend time with my family. I also love to travel. I have a cat named Belle.

I graduated with honors from college in 1983 with a degree in Education. I have been teaching in some form for more than 40 years!   My mom, and my grandmothers were all teachers, so teaching is a family tradition for me!

I have a very relaxed, calm teaching style. I love my students, and they know it.  I feel teaching works best when the student knows and loves their teacher and feels relaxed in the classroom.

I look forward to meeting you and your child in my classroom soon.

Teacher Beth XB Classroom Policies

  1. Adhere to all Blue Sky Education Policies.
  2. Communication: Please send a message through the Blue Sky website to Teacher Beth XB if your child cannot come to class within 12 hours of our class time. We can reschedule for another day and time with no financial penalty.
  3. Student No-Show: If your child does not come to his or her class as scheduled, you will forfeit that class. Exceptions can sometimes be made for emergencies. Please communicate with Teacher Beth XB as soon as you are able and we will work together to reschedule.
  4. Late Students: Teacher Beth XB will stay in our classroom for the first 10 minutes of the class. If your student is not in the classroom at 10 minutes, Teacher Be
  5. th XB will leave the classroom. The class will not be refunded or rescheduled.
  6. Teacher Rescheduling: If Teacher Beth XB is sick or has a family emergency, your class will be rescheduled. Teacher Beth XB will make every effort to communicate with you ahead of our scheduled class.
  7. IT issues: If we experience technical difficulties that keep us from having class, we will reschedule your course. If we experience ongoing technical issues over several classes, we will work together to solve the problem to ensure your student has the best classroom experience possible!
