Hello! I’m Teacher Katrina, and I teach English (ESOL) and other classes with Blue Sky Education. I’ve been an educator for more than twenty years. I love teaching online! I get to work with students from all over the world, and the one-on-one, personal attention that I can give to my students creates let’s me create the best learning environment for each student.
Here’s a little about me: I live in Illinois with my husband and our cat. We have four grown children and 8 grand children! In my spare time, I love to spend time with family, craft, work in my garden and spend time outdoors.
I completed two college degrees online. I believe this gives me great insight about how to build an effective online classroom experience. I look forward to meeting you in my classroom.
All classes are 25 minutes in length.

I believe it’s important to share my expectations up front to avoid confusion or miscommunication. However, I’m always available to speak with parents if they have questions.
- Arrive online five minutes prior to class start time
- Notify Teacher as soon as possible if you must cancel/reschedule.
- No outside technology during class
- Ask questions!
