Hello my name is Amy! I love teaching students about the amazing world around us. I enjoy teaching English and focusing on pronunciation, grammar and writing skills. My goal as a private tutor with Blue Sky is to provide students an environment that inspires them to learn English and provide them with the tools they need to be successful. As a teacher I enjoy learning about my students and their interests. I am excited to work with families individually and focus on each students needs. With a teaching style that builds on the students strengths, I strive to make learning a fun experience. I have a B.S. Degree from Radford University and a TESOL certification. I have experience through the American Red Cross working with children in the community and in schools. My background in community health and as an ESL teacher online has given me a passion for helping students succeed in their learning goals. I live in Florida and have 3 children of my own and love to spend time with family, traveling, and experiencing new adventures. Building your child's confidence in their learning ability is important to me. I'm energetic and excited to meet new students. Come learn with me!
